Front View The man with the “Yellow Briefcase” is 72”Hx 28”L x 22”WMade of mixed woods with no stains, dyes or paint. Employing traditional joinery, it is functional with seven drawersBriefcase is not functional. Visitors always asked. Woods: Verawood - green on the coat and pants Amboyna - tie and trim on the drawers Satinwood - briefcase Maple - Shirt, Carcass field tiles, drawer sides Ebony - Shoes, carcass trim and briefcase trim Horneblende - tiles on face and solid carved hand, and ears Koa - Hair Holly, ebony and rosewood eyes Pink peroba - lips All outside surfaces are covered in wood tiles or the above woods The verawood (green) is laid out in a herringbone pattern. It is sanded and polished with a fine abrasive but has no finish on it. Vera is extremely oily so it cannot even take a finish if one tried. All other surfaces are lacquered |
